This past Sunday at the Museum of Science and Discovery in Fort Lauderdale local Kimono designer, Hiromi Asai held a fashion show. Her show was in conjunction with the museums Asian Pacific Heritage Celebration. A few of our students/alumni were models in her show. Click more to see a video from the event. 書道 Shodō (Japanese Calligraphy) was offered at FIU for the first time this past semester. Students flocked to the class and filled it to capacity.
