On Monday, December 14, 2015, the Association of Florida Teachers of Japanese (AFTJ) presented the 15th annual "Japan Immersion Day": It was a great day to enjoy Japanese culture, meet other Japanese students, learn more about Japan, and have fun!
The workshops this year included:* - Origami - Anime - Sushi making - Chopstick decoration/Hachimaki making - Kimono try-on - Calligraphy - Martial arts (Kendo) - Japanese bracelet making - Sumie (Brush painting) - Video games
All attendees had a lot of fun. The event was co-sponsored by the Association of Florida Teachers of Japanese (AFTJ), Consulate General of Japan in Miami, Department of Modern Languages, and Asian Studies Program.
