An Asian Studies MA graduate student, Susan St. Denis, in Dr. Lidu Yi's Arts of China and Japan course did a fantastic job documenting the arts of the Song and Yuan dynasties (10-14th centuries) in China. This specific assignment was meant to train students to be a museum curator, an educator and a gallery person.

FIU Asian Studies Program is honored to announce this year's Omar K. Carrion Scholarship Recipients. Three outstanding students in Asian Studies have been awarded for 2021-2022: Kyle Beekman (Award Winner), Brittany Nobles (Runner-Up), and Tatianna Valiente (Runner-Up).
