2021 AFTJ Bento Contest results
The Association of Florida Teachers of Japanese (AFTJ) held the Fifth Annual AFTJ Bento Contest and 24 creative bento were submitted this year. The purpose of this bento contest is to celebrate Japan’s cool food culture and give students an opportunity to design their own decorated bento in a food container.
We are proud to announce that the 1st place was Ms. Stephania Marquez who is currently in Intermediate Japanese II (Professor Komura) at FIU and 2nd place was Ms. Misha Lozada from Miami Palmetto Senior High School (Professor Avello).
