  • 2009-2010

Lacey Haslam, Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan. Lacey is a double major in Asian Studies and International Relations and has shown exceptional interest in Japanese Culture and Language.

Harriet Marin, Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. Harriet is a graduate student with an M.A. in Religious Studies and is currently persuing a Master's in Asian Studies.

Thomas J. Rayson, Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. Thomas is an Asian Studies major and is interested in Japanese Language and the art of Iaido.

Yesenia Reyeros, Bangkok, Thailand. Yesenia is and Internation Relations major with an Asian Studies minor.

Nathan Schorb, Kanda University in Chiba City, Japan. Nathan is an International Business major and has been studying both Japanese and Chinese as well as practicing Kendo and Taiko.

  • 2008-2009

Doria Bareket, an Asian Studies Major, will be spending a semester at Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan in fall 2008.

Greg Burrow, a Japanese Studies Certificate student, traveled to Hiroshima for a seminar on the atomic bombing.

Stephanie Cua, a Japanese Studies Certificate student, will be spending a year at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan.

Boris Escalona, an Asian Studies Major, attended the Ritsumeikan University program in summer 2008.

Karyna Do Monte, is traveling to India for studies of religion and culture in pursuit of the Graduate Asian Studies Certificate.

Yakelin Wong, a Japanese Studies Certificate student, will be spending a semester at Kansai Gaidai University in Osaka, Japan in fall 2008.
