Have you ever wanted to go to an academic conference or present your research to peers?

Conferences open your world to new ideas and ways to do your research as well the ability to network with people in your field. Not only do you gain experience but it also looks great on your resume.

Now's your chance to learn how!

Both of the presenters have attended and presented at a number of conferences around various parts of the world.

  • 1st - Zenel Garcia, Asian Studies alumni, PhD. student and adjunct Professor in International Relations will be presenting on how to find conferences, submit your work and present.
  • 2nd - Maria Sol Echarren, PhD. student in Linguistics and Asian Studies Senior Program Coordinator will discuss how to find funding to get you to the conference.
