2022 Association for Florida Teachers of Japanese (AFTJ) Bento Contest results
The Association of Florida Teachers of Japanese (AFTJ) held the Fifth Annual AFTJ Bento Contest, and 16 creative bento were submitted this year. The purpose of this bento contest is to celebrate Japan’s cool food culture and give students an opportunity to design their own decorated bento in a food container.
We are proud to announce that the 1st place was Ms. Stephania Marquez, who is currently in Japanese Calligraphy course (Professor Mashav) at FIU. Congratulations! Stephania has been awarded for the second year in a row! Below is a picture of her creative bento:
