New! Tracing Japan's Enchanting Culture and Nature
We are now offering a new Study Abroad Program in Japan during Summer A (May 7-29, 2025) led by Dr. Marcela López Bravo. This three-week program is designed to enhance students’ global citizenship, adaptability, and confidence by immersing in Japan’s rich cultural heritage: Explore ancient temples and participate in their ceremonies, work alongside local students and artisans, and attend cultural events such as Sumo. The 2025 summer study abroad program, Intensive Language and Culture in Kyoto at Ritsumeikan University, concluded successfully. Participants had valuable opportunities to use Japanese with native speakers and immerse themselves in authentic cultural experiences. As a result, their language skills improved significantly, and many developed lasting friendships with Japanese students.
