I hold a Master's degree in Asian Studies from Florida International University (FIU). My academic interests encompass Japanese history, society, language, arts, and contemporary culture, with a broader focus on East Asian societies and cultures and their global connections. My professional experience in cultural programming, public engagement, and cross-cultural communication includes service at the Consulate General of Japan in Miami. I bring an interdisciplinary perspective to the study of East Asia, conneting historical and contemporary contexts to foster a critical understanding of the region and its role in the global community.
